アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所では、創立以来、数多くの学術書を無償で出版してきました。近年、書籍の電子化が進んでいますが、特に、辞書などの書籍については電子書籍の方が検索などの面で利用者に便利なものとなっています。

そこでアジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所では、出版の形態の一つとして電子書籍の形も採用し、従来の出版と同様の水準の書籍としての品質の維持、およびISBNの付与を伴った形での電子出版を行なうことにしました。学術的な引用についての標準が書籍と同様の形態のものについてしか存在しないという事情から、当面はPDF形式に限り、改変不能にプロテクトをかけた上で、検索やテキストのコピーは自由な形式で公開していくことにします。

もちろん、このような電子書籍の提供は無償であっても、コンテンツ自体を提供しているのではなく、その利用を提供しているものです。コンテンツは、著作権によって守られており、私的な複製は可能であっても、公衆への配布は著作権者の許可なく行なってはならないことなど、著作権法の規定を守って利用していただくようお願いいたします。

2017年4月からは、本学のオープンアクセス宣言に基づいて、原則として、それ以降のすべての電子出版物にいずれかのクリエイティブ・コモンズ・ライセンスを付与することにしておりますので、各出版物に付与されているライセンスに従ってご利用ください。

Since its foundation, Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa (ILCAA) has been publishing many scholarly books for free. In recent years, electronic forms of publication have grown. The ease to search through digital volumes are particularly welcome for dictionaries.

Therefore the Institute decided to publish books also in digital format, for the moment in PDF, with the same standards of quality. A unique ISBN number will be assigned to each publication. PDF format with page numbers and unalterability by password protection assures the traditional ways of citation, yet provides ease of searching and copying the text.

Digital publication by our Institute is desseminated free of charge. The contensts of the publications are, of course, protected by the copyright. The copyright of the contents belongs to the respective authors. Uses of publications are restricted within the copyright law.

Since April 2017, following the principle of Open-Accessibilty of publications of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, our electronic publications thenceforth are licensed under one of the Creative Commons Licenses. So, please use them according to their license.
